How can I arrange a Civil Funeral?

  • I will arrange a time to meet with you at your home. A suitable alternative meeting place can be arranged if you prefer.

  • The meeting will last as long as necessary but it is advisable to set aside about two hours.

  • During the meeting I will ask you to provide me with as much information as possible about the person who has died. You may find it helpful to have a relative or close friend with you at this time.

  • I will then write a tribute to help us create a ceremony that reflects your wishes. Of course you will be able to check and approve the content before the funeral.

  • After the funeral I will offer you a complete copy of the ceremony to keep.

  • The reflections you share with me in confidence will be respected. No personal information will be used in the tribute without your permission.
